Story
After the success of 2017, I am riding again in 2018 to make a difference in lives of even more kids in need.
In March 2018 myself and 15 others will base ourselves in Launceston Tasmania and ride 500km, with over 7000m of vertical elevation to support Southern Cross Kids' Camps (SCKC).
SCKC run camps for kids who have been subjected to abuse and neglect. Over the week long camp kids are given an exciting week of making great memories. Memories that build their self-image, memories that allow them to smile and memories that give them hope that life is meant for living!
You will get your tax receipt by return email.

Thanks heaps for your support!
Southern Cross Kids' Camps
Southern Cross Kids' Camps (SCKC) is a Christian not-for-profit organisation providing annual camps for children across Australia. The children who attend camp come from a background of abuse and neglect and are referred to the camps by welfare & foster organisations, school principals, social workers and chaplains. We partner with churches throughout Australia to offer children from 7 to 11 years, a five day specialised program. Every year over 500 volunteers invest a week of their time to participate in the camps.
Through the provision of a safe environment, Southern Cross Kids' Camps gives children positive reinforcement that they are valuable, making a difference to the negative impact abuse has had on their young lives. Children from all walks of life deserve to be given every opportunity to develop a personal sense of competency, improved social skills, as well as assistance in becoming resilient, productive members of society, despite the adversity they have encountered.
The children that attend our camps are given an exciting week of making great memories. Memories that build their self-image, memories that allow them to smile, memories that give them hope that life is meant for living!
All camp personnel are fully committed, experienced, trained and most importantly screened. The camp offers these children an environment that is safe and non-threatening.
